The trail is calling, and India's biggest downhill mountain biking spectacle is back! The Cycling Federation of India (CFI) in association with Zabarvan LLP has officially announced the Zabarvan Legends Series 2026 (Season 2). For all Himcycling riders eager to test their limits on the national stage, selections for our official state representation will be based directly on the standings from our latest trials!

The Three National Stages

Per CFI guidelines, state units can recommend up to 4 male elite athletes for the series. Selected riders will represent Himcycling across three contrasting, high-octane stages across the country:

1. Stage 1: Singge Oralo (Zoom Village, Sikkim) | Oct 7–11, 2026 – A technical 2.5 km course dropping 400 meters through jungle switchbacks, rock gardens, urban stairs, and a massive 20-foot shark-fin step-down finish.
2. Stage 2: Druk Layul (South Pullu, Ladakh) | Oct 14–18, 2026 – A physical 4 km high-altitude trail starting at 4,300 meters. Riders face loose switchbacks and large boulder gardens where acclimatization and stamina are key.
3. Stage 3: Gaur Ghat (Pune, Maharashtra) | Oct 22–25, 2026 – A fast, flowy 2.5 km track with off-camber root sections, 300-year-old stone steps, ladder bridges, and a 25-foot jump to the finish.

Event Details & Key Guidelines

1. Prize Purse: A ₹5,00,000 cash prize pool will be awarded at each stage across competition categories.
2. Rider Support: Organizers are providing free registration and airport-to-venue shuttle service (athletes arrange their own lodging and food).
3. Eligibility & Gear: Elite category riders must be 19 or older with a valid CFI/UCI Rider License. Open category riders (14+) do not require a license. A CE/EN-certified full-face helmet and full downhill protective kit are mandatory for all participants.
