The HimCycling Association is inviting all eligible competitive cyclists from across Himachal Pradesh to submit their entries and represent our state on the national stage!

1. Event Name: HCL Cyclothon Chennai Edition 2026
   
2. Organizers: HCL in association with Cycling Federation of India (CFI)
   
3. Race Date: Sunday, 11th October 2026
   
4. Venue: Chennai circuit (Technical Guide to be issued 30 days prior to the event)
   
5. Category: Elite Men & Elite Women – Mass Start
   
6. Distance: 50 Kms (Mass Start; subject to change)
   
7. Age Qualification: Between 18 and 40 years
   

🌟 Fully Sponsored Quota (Top 50 National Ranking)

The Cycling Federation of India will select 50 Cyclists (30 Male & 20 Female) across India who will receive full sponsorship based on overall National Rankings:

1. Lodging & Boarding: Fully covered in Chennai for October 10th and 11th, 2026 (Check-out on October 11th afternoon).
   
2. Travel Allowance: Round-trip (to and fro) Sleeper Class train fare provided.
   
3. Local Transportation: Local transport in Chennai provided during the event duration.
   
4. Selection Criteria: Strictly based on Overall National Ranking.
   

🚲 Self-Funded Category for Licensed Cyclists

Riders who are outside the top 50 national ranking can still participate as self-funded entries, provided they hold a valid CFI license.

1. Self-funded riders must arrange their own lodging, boarding, and local transportation.
   
2. Mandatory Process: Even self-funded entries must be routed through the official State Association; CFI will not accept direct individual entries.

Important Timeline: While the final CFI deadline for State Associations to forward entries is 30th September 2026 (by 17:00 Hrs), Himachal riders are urged to email their details immediately so the association can complete verification and entry collation.

⚠️ Strict Non-Reporting Regulations & Penalty

Please ensure your commitment before sending in your registration. CFI has implemented strict penalties for non-reporting:

1. In previous events, several riders confirmed entries via state associations but failed to report at the venue, causing operational disruption.
   
2. For 2026, CFI will penalize the State Association Rs. 1,000/- per non-reporting entry.
   
3. Additionally, any non-reporting rider will be barred from participating in the next official CFI event.
